I’m just some guy.

My name is Michael, and Timber & Smoke is something I’ve been building slowly and intentionally. It began with a camera and a pipe—posting videos on YouTube about the joys of pipe and cigar smoking. I didn’t set out to build a brand; I just wanted to share what I loved: the rituals, the quiet moments, the stories, and the deeper meaning wrapped up in a bowl of tobacco and a good conversation.

But over time, Timber & Smoke began to grow.

Today, it’s still just me behind the scenes—but the project has expanded into something more. At its heart is Timber & Smoke Magazine, a small, independent print journal dedicated to pipe culture, reflection, and the pursuit of a slower life. Alongside the magazine, I continue to share content through video and writing, always with the same goal: to celebrate the enduring traditions that bring us together.

Timber & Smoke is about more than smoking—it’s about building something lasting, something slower, deeper, and more intentional.
