Nathan was featured in Timber & Smoke No. 3 where you can learn more about his path as a pipe maker. All I can say about this pipe is wow. The grain is just about flawless, presenting itself with a fantastic display of straight grain. The pipe has a natural finish, to allow the briar itself to shine forth. The pipe has an excellent, deep bend while utilizing a sage-green stem. The ebonite stem is a perfect accent to the natural finish of the briar. The final detail to note is the use of the plateau in the rim, and it’ beautifully done. If you like Nathan’s work, this is one to add to your collection.
